The 2011-2012 Worth Cobras Organizational Tryouts were held on Sunday, August 14th, at Rhodes Jordan Park, and rosters are in the process of being set.

The Worth Cobras is an "A" level organization set up to provide girls with a quality venue where they can develop and hone their softball skills in order to prepare themselves, both physically and mentally, to play at the High School and College Level. Entering into our sixth season, we've worked hard and developing a reputation for softball excellence including the signing of almost two dozen seniors to college scholarships throughout the country. Still a young organization, we've sent 12 teams to ASA Nationals over the past seasons. We've had our 10U team place second at ASA Nationals, the highest finish of all but two Georgia teams at ASA Nationals! We continue to seek opportunities to improve our program.

The '97 Worth Cobras WILL have a few spots available to be earned on our roster. We will especially be looking hard at catchers, but all positions are available. Our goal for the 2011-2012 season is to qualify for and win ASA Nationals in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Some travel and showcase events are planned, as well.
